Easy Husky Drawing – Tutorial For Kids

Drawing a husky can be a fun and rewarding activity, especially for kids. Follow this easy step-by-step tutorial to create a simple and cute husky drawing. Grab your drawing materials, and let's get started!

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

Before you begin, make sure you have all the necessary materials: paper, pencils (HB or 2B), an eraser, and if you want to add color, colored pencils or markers.

Step 2: Draw the Head

Start by drawing a medium-sized oval shape towards the top center of your paper. This will be the husky's head.

Step 3: Add the Ears

Extend two triangular shapes from the top sides of the oval to create the husky's ears. Huskies often have pointed and erect ears.

Step 4: Draw the Snout

Beneath the head, draw a small rectangle shape extending downward for the snout. Connect the snout to the head with a curved line.

Step 5: Add the Nose and Mouth

On the tip of the snout, draw a small oval for the nose. Add a curved line above the nose for the mouth, and draw a small line across the snout to indicate the mouth's opening.

Step 6: Sketch the Eyes

Draw two oval shapes above the snout for the husky's eyes. Leave a small white circle or oval within each eye to represent the reflection.

Step 7: Outline the Face

Outline the head, ears, snout, and eyes to define the husky's face. You can make the lines a bit fluffy to represent the fur.

Step 8: Draw the Body

Extend two lines downward from the husky's head to create the body. Connect the lines at the bottom with a horizontal line to complete the body shape.

Step 9: Add the Legs

Draw four legs extending from the body. Keep the lines short and slightly curved. Add small oval shapes at the ends for the paws.

Step 10: Sketch the Tail

Extend a curved line from the back of the body to create the husky's tail. You can make the tail bushy by adding a few curved lines along its length.

Step 11: Refine and Add Details

Review your drawing and refine any lines. Add fur details by drawing short, curved lines along the body and tail. You can also add details to the paws.

Step 12: Optional - Add Color

If you want to add color to your husky drawing, use colored pencils or markers. Huskies come in various coat colors, so feel free to get creative with your color choices.

Congratulations! You've successfully drawn an easy and cute husky. Feel free to experiment with different poses, expressions, and colors to make each husky unique. Enjoy the creative process, and happy drawing!
